The north-south divide in London has long been joked about, but exclusive research by online retailer Amazon has showed that it plays a crucial role when it comes to predicting what people will buy online.
For example, north Londoners are apparently very health conscious, purchasing more juicers, blenders and NutriBullets (gadgets that turn fruit and vegetables into vitamin-packed drinks).
In comparison, south Londoners spend money on more luxurious items, such as champagne buckets and flutes as well as scented candles.
East Londoners prefer coffee percolators and seem to have a penchant for vacuum storage bags, while west Londoners spend their cash on the best Egyptian cotton sheets, as well as soft bathroom towels.
Tens of thousands of sales were analysed by Amazon and the results givea glimpse into the lives of Londoners according to their postcode.
