Tennis fans that have still to complete their application to enter the ticket ballot for next year’s Wimbledon tournament are running out of time to return their forms to the All England Tennis Club.
The All England Lawn Tennis Club started its public ballot for tickets to The Championships in 1924. But because demand for Wimbledon tickets has always outstripped the club’s capacity, entry into the ballot does not guarantee success.
If an applicant is successful in the ballot they have no choice over which days, courts or matches you are allocated. The draw is made by computer, which randomly allocates days and courts to a percentage of applicants.
Completed forms should be returned with a postmarked date of no later than 31 December 2014 to AELTC, PO Box 67611, London SW19 9DT. Late applications will be rejected.
