Wishing you all a fun-filled Easter break!

With Easter just around the corner, there are plenty of egg-cellent (groan) activities, to suit the whole family in the local area, and some a bit further afield. From Easter trails, egg hunts and afternoon tea, there’s bound to be something to tempt you over the Easter weekend and beyond.

Here is just a selection to pop in your diary, and they don’t all revolve around chocolate!

Saturday March 30 will see the Wimbledon Quarter putting on an easter spectacular with its ‘Easter Eggstravaganza’ and an opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny and Alice in Wonderland!

Easter Saturday (March 30) is also a great day to be near the river, as it’s the legendary Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Race from Putney to Mortlake. Make your way down to cheer them on…the Women’s Event kicks off at 2.46pm and the Men’s Event is at 3.46pm. https://www.theboatrace.org/

We are very lucky to have a raft of green spaces around us, and even luckier that we have a clutch of National Trust properties within easy reach. Morden Hall Park, Claremont Landscape Garden, Ham House and Polesdon Lacey are all a short drive away.

Hampton Court Palace is running its fabulous Easter Lindt Gold Bunny hunt. Take yourselves back in time around the beautiful sculpted gardens and hunt for the gold bunnies; it’s on from March 23 until April 14.
