Wimbledon and its surrounds are beautiful, made special by the efforts of locals, organisations, and businesses over the decades and centuries.
At Robert Holmes & Co, we have been involved in the community for over 40 years, and we will keep playing our part in maintaining and improving the place we call home.
The biggest local conversation today is the environment. One of the best ways to sustain the local environment is to plant more trees. Everybody wants to live on a tree-lined street, everyone loves the beauty of trees, and every living thing needs to fresh air that trees provide. At Robert Holmes & Co, we want to invest in the area by planting more trees to improve the locality even more.
Therefore, we will sponsor the purchase of 1,000 semi-mature trees and arrange for them to be planted locally. The trees will be classics: The English Oak, The London Plane, The Cherry Blossom, The Famous Rowan and The Glorious Cedar – traditional, popular, planted locally and beautiful. The trees will be 2 metres tall and ready to plant and grow.
It will take some effort to find the right trees, purchase them, get agreement from landowners, plant them and look after them. To do this, we will engage with experienced individuals and groups to turn this plan into action – those with a passion for trees, the environment, and the locality.

Projects to date:
Robert Holmes & Co are working directly with a number of local schools to add trees, with a plan, subject to nature, to plant this Winter. The aim is to get the children involved because they always enjoy this kind of activity and will love to get to know why planting trees is important to them and the planet.
