We are delighted to share the incredible success of this year’s Winter Coat Drive. This initiative was organised in support of Calling London, a remarkable charity dedicated to collecting and distributing warm winter coats to those in need across the city. Their vital work helps individuals and families struggling in the harsh, winter months.
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the Wimbledon Village community and the support of local businesses, we have collected an astounding 710 coats! At Robert Holmes & Co. we were grateful to work alongside fantastic local partners, including The Rose & Crown, Peacock Solicitors, Swords Travel, and West Side Tennis Club.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated in this year’s drive. Your generosity, compassion, and community spirit have been inspiring. From the smallest contribution to the largest, every act of kindness has played a part in this achievement.
The coats will be collected on Tuesday, November 26th, and delivered to Calling London, who will ensure they reach those who need them most. We’ll be capturing more photos on collection day and sharing updates on our website and social media, so please stay tuned for the final chapter of this wonderful story.
